Chod (Vaili: gcod) is one of the schools and practices of Tibetan Buddhism.
The founder of the Chod tradition is considered to be the Tibetan yogini Machig Labdron (1055-1149), who combined elements of Bon Buddhist traditions with the teachings of the Prajnaparamita Sutra and Dzogchen lineage.
